Welcome, and thank you for using this tool. This site lets you shorten and unshorten URLs,
create QR codes, scan QR codes, and reach out through a contact form. By using any of these features,
you’re agreeing to follow a few simple rules. They’re here to protect you, the developer, and others
who use the tool.
First and foremost, please use this service responsibly. It’s built to make life easier by simplifying
links and sharing content through QR codes. It’s not meant to be used for anything illegal, misleading,
or harmful. If you’re shortening a link, make sure it’s safe and appropriate. If you’re unshortening
someone else’s link, be cautious — we don’t check where third-party links lead, so you're clicking at
your own risk.
When you create a short URL, we temporarily store the original link and generate a shorter version.
We don’t promise the short link will last forever. If it’s inactive or misused, it may stop working.
On the other hand, if you’re using the unshorten feature, it will try to pull the original URL from
either the database or a known format. But if the link was made using another service or is broken,
there’s no guarantee it’ll work.
QR code generation is fully handled on your device. Whatever you type to generate a code stays on your
side — it’s not stored or sent to a server. Same thing when you scan a QR code. The scanner works through
your device’s camera, and the data stays local. We don’t see it, save it, or use it. That said, be smart
about what you scan. If it’s a QR code from an unknown source, treat it like a suspicious link.
The theme toggle (switching between light and dark mode) is here just to make the experience more comfortable.
Your choice might be saved in your browser, so the site remembers it next time, but we don’t collect anything
related to that. It’s only for looks — no tracking involved.
If you use the contact form, we’ll get the message in our inbox. We won’t share it or sell it. It’s just
there for genuine questions, feedback, or help requests. If anyone uses it to send spam, threats, or
anything abusive, their access might be blocked. Please don’t misuse it.
This site doesn’t track personal information. We don’t have user accounts, we don’t save your name or email
unless you send it through the contact form. We don’t use cookies for advertising. A few basic logs might be
kept (like how often a tool is used), just to help keep things running smoothly — but nothing that can identify
you directly.
Everything on this site — the design, the logic, the way it works — is created and maintained by the developer.
You’re welcome to use it freely, but you’re not allowed to copy or resell the tool, or try to reverse-engineer
how it works. Some icons and features are borrowed from open-source libraries or icon providers (like QR code
tools and Flaticon), and they each follow their own licenses.
Please understand that we can’t guarantee everything will always work perfectly. The tool is offered “as is.”
If something breaks or a link doesn’t unshorten, or your QR code doesn’t scan — we’ll do our best to fix it,
but we’re not responsible for any problems that come up because of it. Use it at your own risk.
Sometimes updates or changes might happen without prior notice — whether it’s a feature being removed or the
layout being adjusted. That’s just a normal part of keeping things running. We may also update these terms
from time to time. You’re encouraged to check back occasionally. If you keep using the tool after changes are
made, it means you’re okay with the new terms too.
If anything’s unclear or you have a question, you can always use the contact form. I’ll do my best to get
back to you quickly and respectfully.
Thanks for using the tool — and for being a responsible, thoughtful user.
